The SEED Ambition Grant exists to support people who are actively building. Beyond funding, it represents belief, visibility, encouragement and access to opportunities that can strengthen businesses at important stages of growth.

Every edition of the grant goes through a careful verification and selection process to identify businesses with strong ideas, clear direction and growth potential. Through partnerships with organisations that believe in the future of African entrepreneurship and creativity, SEED Ambition has continued to support founders who are committed to building with intention.

Creative Entrepreneurship Grant

2022

The first edition of the SEED Ambition Creative Entrepreneurship Grant launched in partnership with Andrea Iyamah Corp and marked the beginning of SEED Ambition’s commitment to directly supporting founders financially. After a detailed verification and selection process, Hamalie Ltd and Prayer & Plan were selected as beneficiaries and each received $2,500 in funding support to strengthen and grow their businesses.

The SEED Ambition Creative Entrepreneurship Grant returned in 2023, expanding its impact and supporting even more founders across creative and entrepreneurial industries. Five businesses were selected as beneficiaries including Refine Studios, BossPlus1 Media, Victor Samuel Photography, 21 WoolStreet and Nomad Wear Limited with each business receiving funding support following the selection process.

In 2024, the grant continued its mission of supporting founders building promising businesses across industries including fashion, beauty and design. Businesses including Amila Naturals, Abake Ile Studios and Ully’s Crotchet emerged as beneficiaries and each received funding support to help strengthen and grow their work.

Big Dream Fund

During the the SEED Woman Seminar 2025, the Big Dream Fund, a unique initiative peculiar to the event was held in partnership with Adara Foundation to support women led businesses with financial backing. The pitching and qualification process took place right there, during the seminar after which SAC Beauty emerged as the first place recipient, while Lore Designs and Backel were runners up. They each received funding support to strengthen and grow their businesses.

Powered Through Partnership

All SEED Ambition Creative Entrepreneurship Grants have been supported in partnership with Andrea Iyamah Corp, with the exception of the Big Dream Fund which was supported by Adara Foundation. These partnerships continue to help provide meaningful opportunities and financial support to founders building impactful businesses across Africa.
